Testing common rail components
The automotive industry and its suppliers aim to make the cars' combustion engines as energy-efficient as possible. Common Rail technology offers the saving potential to do so. Further requirements are reduced CO2 and pollutant emissions. The injectors make sure that the fuel is delivered to the engine precisely and in the most efficiently utilizable form. Fundamental to that process are the actuators integrated in the injectors. They are electronically triggered and of decisive significance to the functionality of the injectors. Consequently, a faultless control is particularly important.
At every stage of injector and actuator development and production, Scienlab offers a variety of testing options – from product verification through to final function testing. Individual requirements such as interfaces or output parameter such as current and voltage can be extensively covered in customer-specific tests.
