Combined interopberability testing of all components of the charging system
With the Scienlab test systems it is possible to extensively test not only the charging infrastructure (EVSE) but also the charging technology of the electric vehicle (EV). Due to the modular design of the ChargingDiscoverySystem (CDS) test system used in conjunction with the ChargingDiscover software, the AC and DC emulators and other options, users can put together a test bench that precisely matches their individual test requirements.
Highlights of the Scienlab test system
- Compliance with the standards: Support of all available communication methods, in particular of basic communication (PWM) according to IEC 61851 and high-level communication (PLC) according to ISO 15118, CHAdeMO and GB/T.
- Real-time capable test procedure: Thanks to its powerful FPGAs and processors with real-time operating systems and its high-performance and synchronous interfaces, the CDS is consistently designed for real-time performance
- Open system: Emulation of any EV and EVSE by means of an openly accessible state machine (parameters and measured values)
- Maximum measuring and control accuracy: High resolution, differentially measuring AD converters as well as a consistent grounding concept enable precise data aquisition
